Dr. Munir Loya completed his Internship in Internal Medicine at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia and residency at St. Luke’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has been in practice since 2004. He is a Fellow of American College of Physicians and is serving as a Medical Director of Kindred Triumph Hospital, Houston, Texas. Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine, Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Loya is actively involved in the education of medical students. Practice Philosophy: Dr. Loya believes that prevention with the judicious use of medication and lifestyle changes can prevent many illnesses and their effects on early aging of the body systems. Through testing and risk assessment he is able to advise people on what steps are necessary to make their lives healthier.
